(Wayne County, IN)--One person was killed in a crash on I-70 in Wayne County Thursday night, and it appears that it was caused by a semi driver who ignored weather conditions. A westbound flatbed semi lost control near the Henry County line and went across the highway. When our troopers got there, they found a semi off the south side of the road with a passenger car lodged underneath the semi's flatbed trailer," said John Bowling with the Indiana State Police. "The area was receiving a pretty heavy snowfall at the time and I-70 was snow-covered and slick," Bowling added. The victim was from Illinois. The semi driver is from California.
