(Richmond, IN)--A local Political Action Committee has been formed to support and fund a mayoral candidate in Richmond.  The group is called Leadership Richmond PAC.  The group is made up of numerous business and civic leaders in Richmond.  According to the group’s update e-mailed to its members, they have interviewed six possible candidates for mayor and are throwing their support behind one who has not yet announced that he’s running.  That’s Kyle Ingram.  The group said Ingram has the vision, passion, and overall leadership that Richmond needs.  Ingram currently works as an NCAA basketball official involving major universities.  Other candidates include two that have already announced:  Diana Pappin and Dave Snow, and others that are considering: Matt Strittmatter, Gary Turner, and Monica Burns.  Leadership Richmond PAC is trying to raise $50,000 to support Ingram.  $40,000 has already been committed.  The group meets December 22.
