(Richmond, IN)--There were two incidents of people getting hit on bicycles in Richmond just a few hours apart Thursday night. It the first, a 15-year-old girl was struck at the intersection of National Road West and South West 5th at around 5:30. Witnesses said the girl darted out into traffic and was hit by a pickup. She suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Then, at 9:30 Thursday night, a bicyclist was struck at 16th and East Main. The male victim was taken to Reid Hospital. Other details, including his name and condition, have not been released.
