(Cambridge City, IN)--Police officers searched cornfields in western Wayne County Wednesday morning and were able to catch a man who had allegedly stolen from Sugar Creek Packing.  That man, who was later identified as 41-year-old Perry Lear of New Castle, was working on a sanitation crew when he took items from employee lockers and other products and fled into the fields.  He was booked into the Wayne County Jail at just before 5 o’clock Wednesday morning.
