(Wayne Co, IN)--Fire did heavy damage to a home Thursday night. It broke out at just before 10 p.m. at a home in a remote area on the Wayne/Randolph County line and less than a mile from the state line. Fighting the fire was made more difficult because of a nearby propane tank and ammunition in the house. The home’s occupant was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation. There’s no word yet on what started the fire.
