(Richmond, IN)--Richmond’s 20th Street bridge over railroads tracks will close soon and will remain closed for much of the rest of the year. That bridge is heavily used by people traveling back and forth from Richmond’s north and east sides. The bridge has deteriorated to the point that it needs to be replaced. It will be built with steel and will be a little higher to conform to railroad standards. The bridge will close in about a month and is not expected to reopen until around November.
