(Richmond, IN)--A career Richmond drug offender is facing substantially more prison time after a pre-trial hearing Thursday. 42-year-old Torrie Mayberry has been charged as a habitual offender. Mayberry was arrested on South 8th earlier this month for possession and selling 28 grams of cocaine. He already has two drug convictions. Mayberry was in jail for only an hour Thursday before posting bond and being released. The habitual offender designation could double Mayberry’s time behind bars if he’s convicted.
