(Indianapolis, IN)--A bill dealing with drug addicts that was written by State Senator Jeff Raatz of Centerville is now headed to Indiana’s governor for final consideration.  The bill would establish a pilot program in three Indiana counties, including Wayne.  It would allow drug addicts who are at serious risk of death or injury due to their addiction to be involuntarily committed to a treatment facility.  The bill recently unanimously passed both the state House and Senate.
