(Richmond, IN)--A Richmond man was jailed late Sunday night after allegedly tossing a significant amount of drugs out of his car window as he fled police. The pursuit ended near the Depot District with the arrest of 34-year-old Darren Walker. Walker sped away after a canine gave a positive indication. A baggy with drugs that later tested positive for cocaine was found at Fort Wayne Avenue and 6th Street. Further down the street, another bag of marijuana and drug paraphernalia was located. Walker was only in jail for a short time. A bondsman helped him post a $30,000 bond. Walker is free for now, but faces a charge of dealing cocaine.
