(Richmond, IN)--The Indiana State Department of Education released letter grades for schools Wednesday.  Here’s a look at how Richmond schools fared.  While two-thirds of schools across Indiana got either an A or a B, that was not the case at Richmond.  Three schools received B’s: RHS, Starr, and Crestdale.  Charles, Fairview, Westview, and Test all got C’s.  Dennis and Vaile received D’s.  Eight of the nine schools fared either the same or worse than last year.  As for other area schools across the Whitewater Valley, only two high schools received A’s: Centerville and Winchester.  Northeastern Middle School also got an A.  Four elementary schools received A’s, including Eastview and Central in Connersville, Brookville, and Deerfield Elementary in Randolph County.  No area school received an F.
