(Brookville, IN)--A plea deal will keep the former Franklin County auditor out of jail, at least for now.  Steve Brack has agreed to plead guilty to theft for stealing from the Brookville Kiwanis while he served as treasurer.  He’ll also have to pay back the $888 he stole.  The plea deal calls for him to serve two years with all time suspended.  But Brack faces more charges in a different case.  He’s also accused of stealing $5000 from the Whitcomb Methodist Church while he was treasurer there.
