(Richmond, IN)--A Richmond man is in custody after allegedly robbing a liquor store Monday night.  A man later identified as 24-year-old Elijah Isaacs allegedly entered J Street Liquors at around 10 o'clock Monday night, bashed the clerk over the head with an undisclosed item, and then fled south.  Officers were able to pull Isaacs over on U.S. 27 at Endsley Road.  Under his seat, officers found a bottle of apple Crown Royal.  Isaacs is charged with robbery.  A passenger in his car, 25-year-old Terri Rust of Connersville, was also jailed for assisting a criminal.  The clerk was not seriously hurt.
