(Randolph County, IN)--It was a narrow escape Sunday night for a teen learning to drive in Randolph County.  A driver, who had only a learner’s permit, drove around railroad crossing gates that had come down for an approaching train near Monroe Central High School.  The girl then tried to back up and become stuck on the tracks.  She was then able to free the SUV enough that so the train only barely grazed the vehicle.  There were no injuries.
