(Wayne County, IN)--Wayne County Emergency Communications has released some numbers from last year.  According to their post on social media, 911 dispatchers handled just shy of 94,000 calls for service last year in Wayne County for police, fire, and ambulance.  That’s about 258 calls per day.  They received only 258 text messages for service.  Their busiest day of the week may surprise you…it was Tuesdays.  911 provides dispatch service for 27 Wayne County agencies.
