(Richmond, IN)--Earlham College’s Joseph Moore Museum has received funding to begin a long-term preservation project of its Egyptian mummy.  She’s the daughter of an Egyptian priest and has been dead for as long as 2300 years.  The funding will allow for construction of a temperature-controlled storage case.  It’s one of just two mummies known to be housed in Indiana.  The other is just a few miles away at the Wayne County Historical Museum.
