(Richmond, IN)--Wayne County officially received its StormReady designation Wednesday.  Representatives of the National Weather Service in Wilmington were on hand to announce that Wayne County had completed a year-long application process.  The designation means that the county has taken great strides to improve first responder and citizen preparedness in the event of a natural disaster.  Although half of Indiana’s counties are StormReady, there are no others in the Whitewater Valley.
