(Union City, OH)--In Union City, a discussion is underway about allow fire and EMS workers to carry concealed firearms while on duty.  The policy, if approved, would make Union City one of the first in the area to allow non-police first responders to carry weapons. Union City Police Chief Mark Ater told council this week that he believes those first responders should be able to protect them.
