(New Castle, IN)--A Richmond man is facing an unbelievable 172 felony counts of counterfeiting after his arrest in Henry County.  30-year-old Jeremy Goodwin of Richmond was jailed after a traffic stop in New Castle.  During a search, officers allegedly found counterfeit bills in multiple denominations, including 10’s, 20’s, and 50’s.  Investigators believe Goodwin was passing the bills in New Castle for about a week.  Richmond has also seen a rash of counterfeit bills in lower denominations recently, although Goodwin has not been charged in Wayne County.
