#MustHearMonday is back!
Granger Smith- Home Cooked Meal
It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of Granger Smith. I have the lyrics to "Back Road Song" on the wall of my office. I think he's one of the most authentic songwriters going today. This song hits the nail on the head talking about the world being so fast paced. You can argue with the logic that "it's a fast food world, dying for a home cooked meal". Think about it. At least for me, life was a lot simpler around the family table as a kid.
Danielle Bradbery- Potential
I like this song because I think it's really relatable if you've ever been in a difficult relationship. "I'm not in love with you. I'm in love with your potential" is a real sort of moment of clarity line. That is the kind of realization that hits you like a ton of bricks.
Brett Kissel- We Were That Song
I'm a big fan of what I've heard from Brett so far. He's an artist from Canada that I started following after his performance of the National Anthem during the Stanley Cup Finals when his mic didn't work and the fans started singing along. Granted, it's a heck of a way to discover an artist, but I'll take it.
Have a song that you think needs to be on #MustHearMonday? Let me know!
