Kane Brown Notches 5th Consecutive #1 Single With "Homesick

Kane Brown's Experiment just keeps paying off. Nash Country Daily reports that the country crooner's 2018 studio album has just earned its fifth consecutive #1 single with "Homesick," which hit the top of the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase charts this week.

“‘Homesick’ is just kinda personal because we’ve done so many shows in the last couple of years, and I’m never home,” Brown says in a statement. “I miss my dogs; I miss my family and my friends. I had it tattooed on me already, so it kinda made sense [as a single].”

The tune, co-written by Brown with Brock Berryhill, Matthew McGinn and Taylor Phillips, follows Experiment's previous #1 hits “Lose It,” “Heaven,” “What Ifs,” and “Good as You.”
