Hardy & Lainey Wilson combine for a "Dark & Emotional " Tale

Country music rising Hardy, and Lainey Wilson, have joined forces for a dark country ballad called “Wait in the Truck”.

“Wait in the Truck” takes the issues of murder and domestic violence head-on, with Hardy singing the role of a guy who runs into a girl, Lainey Wilson, on the side of a road after she’s been beaten. He finds the man who hurt her, kills him and eventually goes to jail — but he doesn’t regret his actions or changing the girl’s life for the better.

“’Wait in the Truck,’ is one of my favorite songs I’ve ever written – probably the best song I’ve ever written to be honest,” HARDY admits. “It hit me so hard the first time I heard the demo back, and no other song had done that before. Very excited for the world to hear the song, excited for the song to give people a platform to maybe speak out about stuff that might be going on in their own homes.

Fans will get their chance to see Hardy sing “Wait in the Truck” live when he hits the road this December for his four-date Wall to Wall Tour.
