Luke Combs Writes, Shares Song Inspired By Beer-Drinking Fan

Luke Combs has shared a brand new song that he wrote specifically for a fan who tweeted him recently. The newly-married fan, named Billy McKee, tweeted a picture from his wedding over the weekend showing himself surrounded by his eight groomsmen and they're all drinking Miller Lites. McKee is down on one knee with the beer box on his head. He tagged both Combs and Miller Lite in the tweet. On Monday (March 29th), Combs replied with a brand new song called "We Still Drink Beer."

Combs replied, "Hell yeah! My kinda folk. Congrats and drink another one for me." Later in the day he tweeted, "One small sip for man, cold cans for all mankind. "We Still Drink Beer," tagging McKee and posting a video of himself with co-writers Dan and Reid Isbell. Combs explained that the three had been together writing for Combs' third album when he discovered McKee's tweet and said he was the inspiration for the song. McKee is even referred to in the song's lyrics as "beer box-headed guy."

Combs' latest single, "Forever After All," is a current Top 30 hit at country radio.

Miranda Lambert Reveals How She Celebrated Her Grammy Win

Miranda Lambert’s “Wildcard” won Best Country Album at the Grammys and let's talk about that gorgeous silver dress!

“I’m wearing Genny and it has music notes on it. I thought it was appropriate, and I got to bring the girls out. It’s been a while — we’ve been in quarantine," Lambert told Extra’s Rachel Lindsay after the show.

As for how she plans to celebrate, Miranda dished, “It’s low-key out here — my manager, my husband, and my tour manager and I are gonna go probably eat something bad for us to eat and have a couple cocktails.”

Miranda is thankful for the success of her album, 'Wildcard' and her song Bluebird that hit at the right time during Covid-19.

She explained, “Since ‘Bluebird’ was out, I haven’t got to talk to people. I just relied on social media and people I run into. I’m very thankful that I had a song like this and a record during a time the time that this record came out and ‘Bluebird’ got its wings, so to speak. It was a song of hope, and I never imagined we would need it as much as we did. It was really good timing. That song helped me through. I’m so glad it was able to do that for other people.”

Her husband also celebrated her win posting a sweet message on Instagram.
"I could not be more proud of this wonderful woman I get to call my wife. Last night you continue to show the world how being true to yourself rewards you. Watching this album go from being just a thought to celebrating your Grammy victory was magical. I cannot wait to be a part of the future magic you create ????"

Miranda Lambert's MuttNation Foundation Gifts 'Surprise' Donations To Animal Shelters

Miranda Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation and Tractor Supply Company have teamed up to provide a quarter-million dollars in grants through MuttNation’s Mutts Across America program. A ‘surprise’ $5,000 donation will be made to one shelter or foster-based rescue in each state across the country. Organizations are carefully researched and vetted before honoring one outstanding nonprofit in each state.

Miranda said, “This was our first signature program and it’s our cornerstone. It lets us reward the hard-working rescues and celebrate shelter pets everywhere. It hits all the high notes . . . Given the fundraising difficulties rescues have faced over the past year, we know it will make a huge difference to thousands of animals.”

In addition to this donation, Tractor Supply is the exclusive retailer of MuttNation products. A percentage of all sales goes to the MuttNation Foundation to further support the cause.

Since the initiative’s inception, MuttNation’s Mutts Across America has supported more than 350 shelters with over $1.25 million in grants.

Justin Moore's Son Broke His Leg On Daddy's 'Watch'

For the second time in his young life, Justin Moore's three-year-old son, South, has broken his leg. It happened on the trampoline at the Moore's Arkansas home, and Justin was most upset because the accident occurred while he was home alone with his four children.

He relayed the incident to Taste of Country saying, "I go pick 'em up from school, we go outside. They're all four on the trampoline and my 7-year-old is usually really good about keeping out for her brother and stopping her sisters from doing something stupid, you know. So I said, 'I'm gonna run in, I'm gonna grab a glass of water. I'll be right back.'" Justin says that's when the injury happened, and he learned that his nine-year-old daughter had "double-jumped" South on the trampoline.

Justin says the first time South broke his leg -- which happened to be his other leg -- he was with his grandfather at church.

On the music front, Justin continues climbing the charts with "We Didn't Have Much," which will be included on his next project.

Kenny Chesney To Release 'Knowing You' Video On Friday

Kenny Chesney will release the video for his new single, "Knowing You,” on Friday (March 12th).

The clip was filmed last fall in Gloucester, Mass. and St. Croix in the Virgin Islands by Kenny's longtime director/collaborator Shaun Silva.

Kenny said, “This song could be so many things to so many people. However the other person faded from your life, it doesn’t have to be sad, or it can be as complete as losing your spouse, family, your best friend or band member. Those moments you shared were so electric and so alive, you’re forever more... and though they’re gone, you’re always better for what was shared. I wanted to make a video where people could see it, even feel that connection and how it holds you going forward. To me, the people who touch your life in profound ways are everything, so this song – and this video – are for them.”

In addition to airing across multiple platforms on Friday, “Knowing You” will also be shown on the Viacom/CBS billboard in the heart of Times Square.

Luke Bryan Reintroduces Two Lane Lager, Adds Hard Seltzer To Line

Luke Bryan is reintroducing his Two Lane American Golden Lager to the marketplace and adding Two Lane Hard Seltzer, described as "a new Southern-inspired hard seltzer."

The American Idol judge first introduced Two Lane Lager in early 2020, before temporarily hitting pause on production. Now, the beer is back on shelves and available in Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia, with plans to steadily expand distribution in the coming years.

Luke tells us that settling on the Two Lane name was pretty easy for him: "I was really happy at how fast we decided on the name. Like, when I go to name a tour or an album it doesn't go well. I mean, it doesn't happen quickly, but in the early stages we were able to put some ideas and names and concepts in front of me. I looked at it and I said, 'Two Lane just feels right.' Two Lane felt right in the story, in the ruralness and what it says."

There are four flavors of Two Lane Hard Seltzer - Cherry Limeade, Peach Tea, Blueberry Lemonade and Watermelon Punch.

Two Lane Lager and Hard Seltzer is brewed in Daleville, Virgina, with water sourced from the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Midland Release Trailer For "Midland: The Sonic Ranch," Documentary & Soundtrack

Midland have something big planned for their fans.

The Texas boys just announced a new documentary and soundtrack, Midland: The Sonic Ranch and dropped the trailer.

The documentary will give you never-before-seen footage of the early days of the band, footage that was accumulated before their 2017 platinum-certified and Double Grammy-winning radio hit, “Drinkin’ Problem.”

The video documents the encounter between frontman Mark Wystrach and guitar player Jess Carson, who reconnected at a friend’s wedding. With an ambition to break the “bro-country” sound that was plaguing Nashville at the time.

.
CMT will premiere the documentary on March 19th, directed by Cameron Duddy himself.
