Miranda Lambert Breaks Down During Texas Weekend Show

Miranda Lambert was moved to tears during her first show back since the pandemic last Thursday (April 22nd) during her show at Billy Bob's Texas while performing "The House That Built Me."

All three of her weekend back-to-back shows at the Fort Worth venue were sold out.

Miranda told the crowd, “No matter what I’ve ever done in my career and what I’m still gonna do, somehow I still feel most at home on a barstool under a neon sign. I walked in here and I took a little tour around, and I just felt so at home. I remembered why I do this and why I missed y’all’s faces so damn much.”

She treated fans to a glimpse at her upcoming project when Jack Ingram surprised her on Thursday evening for a performance of “Tequila Does.” The song is included on their The Marfa Tapes album, which also features Jon Randall and is due out on May 7th.

Is Carrie Underwood Planning a Las Vegas Residency?

Carrie Underwood sent fans into a flurry on Monday afternoon by teasing some exciting news.
She posted a video on social media, saying she’s got something to share in a few days.

“I’m all aflutter with something exciting coming April 21,” Underwood posted.

The news sent fans into a frenzy as they quickly tried to decipher the message. As they were decoding, they noticed that longtime Vegas residency performer and musical icon Celine Dion also teased a very similar message.

“A little teaser for a fabulous reveal on April 21. Stay tuned,” wrote Dion in both English and French. In her clip, the Canada native is seen surrounded by neon lights and is standing in a pinball machine.

Fans are guessing Carrie is heading to Las Vegas for a residency at The Theatre in the new Resorts World Las Vegas hotel. The resort doesn’t open until June 24, but reportedly has a list of performers scheduled to perform.

Among the confirmed acts is Zedd and Tiesto. According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Carrie Underwood, Celine Dion, Luke Bryan and Katy Perry are supposedly on a list as headliners for the 5,000 seat venue!

Eric Church Has New Perspective On Entertainer Of The Year

Eric Church is the reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year, and he's up for the same honor at Sunday (April 18th) night's ACM Awards in Nashville. Since taking home CMA Entertainer in November, Eric tells us he has a completely new perspective on carrying that title.

“Coming off the CMA Entertainer of the Year, I did not know what that award would mean to me. I know what that award means to the format; I know what that means historically, and I tried to live up to that. I think with the vaccinations, I think with the touring, I think with the things we’ve tried to do during this, I’ve done more in that regard than I ever would’ve, because I understand the people that came before me, and I understand the people that will come after me. So, that nomination means more to me now than it probably ever has, and I think representing the format that I adore is something that I’m trying to live up to.”

Eric is also nominated for Male Artist and Music Event of the Year for "Does To Me" with Luke Combs. He is set to perform during the live ACM Awards broadcast, which airs on CBS beginning at 8 p.m. ET.

Kelsea Ballerini Duets with Kenny Chesney for New Single, "Half of My Hometown"

Knoxville, Tennessee natives Kelsea Ballerini and Kenny Chesney have joined together for “Half of My Hometown,” and the back story to this country magic is sweet.

Kelsea shared a touching story about superstar Kenny Chesney. She was preparing to play at the Playstation Theater in New York’s Times Square when Kenny reached out to her through text and said, “I’m so proud of you, hometown girl.”

“Two and a half years ago, it was the most encouraging and magical thing that could’ve happened to me,” Ballerini says. “The fact that [Chesney] knew who I was was wild.”
After recording Half of my Hometown, she got the wild idea to reach out to Kenny and see if he wanted to be on the song.

“I love this song. It made me emotional listening to it. Let me figure out my plans because I want to do [the collaboration] and do it right.” After a few months elapsed, the two joined forces in the studio and recording this amazing song.

For Kelsea, it was an extraordinary moment.

“I wore my ’Knoxville’ t-shirt and [Chesney] face-timed my dad. It was wild,” she noted. “My dad still lives in Knoxville, so when he got that face-time [from me], he couldn’t keep it cool.”
"Half of my Hometown" is the fourth single from her album 'Kelsea' and her favorite song!
