Before getting into his performance, Jimmie shared how the didn't have an easy childhood, but his mother always made sure he was cared for. There were a lot of tears as he hit the dance floor with Emma Slater for a Rumba set to Jimmie's tune "Make Me Want To."

"How you used your arms and your line, well done!" Bruno shares."

That was amazing," Carrie Ann says. "I could not take my eyes off of you. You have so much respect for the art form with the way you did every movement."

"Your upper body was really great, and the secret to this show is to do better than you did the week before, and you did," Len praises.
Derek adds that it was "beautiful."

Alan Jackson Reveals Degenerative Nerve Condition

Alan Jackson has revealed he is living with a degenerative nerve condition that is impacting his ability to tour and perform. During an interview with Jenna Bush Hager on NBC's Today show yesterday (Tuesday, September 28th), Alan said that he has a rare condition known as “CMT” (Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disorder), which is related to muscular dystrophy and Parkinson’s disease.

He said, “I’ve been reluctant to talk about this publicly and to my fans, but I have this neuropathy – a neurological disease that’s genetic that I inherited from my daddy. There’s no cure for it, but it’s been affecting me for years. And it’s getting more and more obvious.”

Alan was first diagnosed a decade ago, and that his father and grandmother had it, as well as his oldest sister.

He added, “It’s not going to kill me – it’s not deadly. I know I’m stumbling around onstage, and now I’m having a little trouble balancing even in front of a microphone. I’m just very uncomfortable. I was starting to get so self-conscious up there…so if anybody’s curious why I don’t walk right, that’s why. I just wanted the fans and the public to know. I don’t want ’em to think I’m drunk onstage because I’m having problems with mobility and balance.”

Alan says that CMT often manifests in muscle weakness, discomfort and pain, especially when standing for long periodshe hopes to continue performing.

He said, “I don’t know how much I’ll continue to tour. I’m not saying I won’t be able to tour. I’ll try to do as much as I can . . ."

Alan added, “I don’t want people to be sad for me; it’s just part of life. I’ve had a wonderful, beautiful life. I’ve been so blessed. It’s just good to put it out there in the open. In some ways, it’s a relief.”

Alan's next concert is scheduled for October 8th at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena. The show was postponed from last year.

Scotty McCreery Charts Fourth Number One In A Row

Scotty McCreery charts his fourth consecutive Number One hit this week with “You Time,” the lead single from his new album, Same Truck. He co-wrote the song about his wife, Gabi, prior to the pandemic.

Scotty said, “This song, like so many of my songs, was inspired by my wife Gabi as well as my desire to spend more time with her in the midst of our busy careers. Thanks to country radio . . . and as always, to my fans. I have missed you during this past year while the world did stop spinning, and I’m glad to be back out on the road to see you.”

He wrote "You Time" in 2019 when he was busying touring on the heels of the success of his first Number One hit, while Gabi was working as a pediatric nurse at Duke Hospital. Scotty tells us: "(I) wrote the song just wanting everything to slow down and wanting me and her to have more time together, and I got what I asked for. It's definitely one of those be careful what you wish for kind of things but again talking about a silver lining through the craziness of the last year or so was that time we got to spend together, that 'you time' that we got, especially so young in our marriage. We didn't think we'd ever get this until we're old and retired with my work schedule and everything."

“You Time” follows Scotty’s three back-to-back chart-topping hits from his Seasons Changealbum, “Five More Minutes,” “This is It,” and “In Between.”

Scotty's next single from the album is called “Damn Strait.”

Ashley McBryde Shares More Details of Horse Back Riding Accident

Last week Ashely was “enjoying her time in the beautiful state of Montana and had an accident while riding a horse.”

Now McBryde herself has taken to social media to share the scary details on the horseback riding accident and it was more than she led on.

In a lengthy note posted to Instagram, Ashley wrote, “A few of us went to ride horses on a ranch in Montana before the scheduled show on Wednesday.” And while McBryde mentions she grew up riding a “fair amount” she also does not consider herself an “experienced horsemen.”

So, after a day of riding across suspended bridges, crossing chest deep rivers and climbing embankments with no problem, during the last leg, Jenny, the young mare became spooked. Eventually, McBryde, whose foot had slipped from the stirrup, had lost her center of balance, and with the horse “moving faster than [she] could stay on” McBryde ended up “going over” and landing on her head!  A trip to the ER revealed the need for “staples to close [her] scalp” and a CAT scan showing a “pretty harsh concussion.”

Ashley ended by saying, "You know me, I wouldn't postpone a show for bumps and bruises," she wrote. "But at the moment I am not able to walk without assistance. We are in contact with my doctors and following everything they say seriously. And as soon as I am able to walk across a stage again, that is exactly where you'll find me. Y'all take care of yourselves. I'll be back soon."

Ashley McBryde Injured In Horseback Riding Accident

Ashley McBryde is on the mend after sustaining injuries while horseback riding in Montana.

According to her IG stories, Ashley was riding a horse while visiting Missoula, Montana on Wednesday (Sept. 22) and was rushed to the hospital after an accident occurred.
"Earlier today, Ashley was enjoying her time in the beautiful state of Montana and had an accident while riding a horse. After a trip to the hospital and a few stitches (and some very sore bones) she is recovering and doing her best to ensure she can play again as soon as possible. Thank you to the wonderful EMTs and hospital workers in Missoula. Our sincerest apologies to the fans for the postponement tonight. As soon as we have updates on other shows this week, we will make sure to let everyone know."

Sending Ashley healing vibes for a speedy recovery.
