Miranda Lambert Launches Her Share The Love Campaign

Miranda Lambert has announced her annual Share The Love campaign, which gives back to animal shelters. Twenty lucky shelters will each receive a $1,000 from her non-profit, MuttNation. The grant goes to randomly selected individuals who have supported their local shelter by volunteering, fostering or adopting a shelter pet in the past year. 

 

Through a press release, Miranda said, “I always tell people who want to help, that volunteering, fostering, and adopting are so important to every shelter. Even if you’re not in a position to adopt, maybe you have time to foster or volunteer. It all makes such a big difference.”

Jimmie Allen Receives His First Ever Grammy Nomination

Jimmie Allen has picked up his first-ever Grammy nomination He’s competing in the category of Best New Artist. The 64th Annual Grammy Awards will take place January 31.

 

Several Nashville-rooted fields feature more Black artists than ever before. That includes Mickey Guyton, who becomes the first Black artist in Grammy history to be nominated for Best Country Album.

 

Jimmie Allen also just found out that his #1 single, “Best Shot” has sold double-Platinum.

 

Most recently, he won New Artist of the Year at the CMA Awards.

 

 

Scotty McCreery's "Five More Minutes" Inspired A Hallmark Christmas Movie

Scotty McCreery's heartfelt hit song, “Five More Minutes,” inspired a Christmas Hallmark movie and it's set to premiere on the Hallmark channel this weekend! 


McCreery serves as an executive producer on the film and they just released the movie trailer!


The film is appropriately titled Five More Minutes. The movie “follows the story of Clara, who wishes she had more time with her late grandfather at Christmas. Her holiday wish seems to come true as she comes across his journal and looks back on her time with him.”


Of course, the song will be featured in the film soundtrack.


Five More Minutes airs this Saturday, November 20 at 10/9c on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel. 

 

 

Dan + Shay Bring Young Boy On Stage Who 'Crushed' Performance Of 'ISPGTB'

Dan + Shay are more than a duo!


During their concert they noticed a young man named Kyler in the front row with a sign that read, “I should probably go to bed…but I’ve waited 14,016 hours for my first concert.”


In a TikTok video, Dan + Shay agreed his “creativity” would have awarded him a “free t-shirt or at least a guitar pick.”


“But the real magic happened when he turned the sign around to reveal the words ‘can I come play guitar and sing with you?'”


Dan + Shay happily obliged and brought Kyler on stage who “crushed” singing and playing the guitar along to “I Should Probably Go To Bed”.
“He was the real star of the show,” they added.

Carly Pearce and Gabby Barrett to Co-Host 'CMA Country Christmas'

The Country Music Association just announced that Carly Pearce and Gabby Barrett will host the annual CMA Country Christmas television special.


After Carly's "Female Vocalist of the Year" win at the CMAs she tweeted out her excitement for her hosting gig!


"And the day just keeps getting better!! SO thrilled to be hosting #CMACountryChristmas with guys the beautiful @gabbybarrett_,” Pearce wrote.


Gabby shared in the holiday news writing on IG, “SO excited to be hosting CMA Country Christmas w/ ma girl Carly Pearce. It’s my FAVORITE time of the year.”


A new promo shows Lady A, Jimmie Allen, Pistol Annies, Carrie Underwood, Brett Eldredge, and more tossing Christmas presents! Going to be a star-studded event! 

This year's CMA Christmas special premieres Monday, November 29, at 8/7c on ABC.

Carrie Underwood Releases Comedic Christmas Song

Carrie Underwood just released a digital-only holiday song.

 

She goes all out comedy with her voice and lyrics for the song titled “Stretchy Pants.” She sings about wearing her stretchy pants to Christmas dinner because she’s been saving up room for all the food. There’s also an animated video that goes with it.

 

As one of the writers, Carrie said, “People know that I am a champion for a healthy lifestyle, but a big part of that is balance. There are times to be disciplined, and then there are times when we need to eat and drink and be merry and enjoy ourselves with family and friends.”

 

Sold only on her website, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Store, the Nashville-based organization which was co-founded by Brad Paisley and Kimberly Williams-Paisley. It provides a free shopping experience for those in need.

 

 

Elle King Is Officially Going Country

Elle King's duet with Miranda Lambert "Drunk (And I Don't Wanna Go Home) has everyone singing along. Now she's bringing more to the country side of music.


"I actually just spent the last two days in the studio in Nashville recording my first country songs," Elle King tells Taste of Country Nights.


King seems very excited to share these news songs.


“It’s not like I’m scared. I’m excited," she says. "I feel like people will give me a shot and I’m just excited."


Her collab with Dierks Bentley "Different for Girls" was a smash, so whatever she's cooking up in Music City should be real good.

Maren Morris Debuts New Look Ahead of 2021 CMA Awards

Maren Morris can rock any look!


The singer just debuted a sleek new look ahead of the CMA Awards.
Maren shared her new curtain bangs along with fresh caramel highlights on Instagram.


"She bangs," she simply captioned the post.


Morris tagged her glam team, including Nashville hairstylist and colorist Marwa Bashier, makeup artist Emily Gray and wardrobe stylist Dani Michelle. 


Morris is currently nominated for three CMA Awards, including Female Vocalist of the Year, as well as Music Video of the Year and Musical Event of the Year for “Chasing After You,” her duet with her husband Ryan Hurd.

Walker Hayes Is 'Fancy Like' Number One

Walker Hayes earns his career first Number One hit on Country radio this week with “Fancy Like.” He shared his excitement on social media yesterday posting a picture of himself hugging his wife, Laney, writing, "17 years, 7 kids, 4 dogs, 2 gerbils, 3 record labels, 4 publishing deals, 3 managers, 1,000 heartbreaks and 1 number one song. Was it worth it? Hell yes. #thankYOU #fancylike"

 

Via a release, Walker said, “Country radio, you hung the moon. This is the ‘we did it’ moment for Laney and me. No matter what I say, you won’t be able to know how grateful I am. Thank you for a hundred chances…now I’m Fancy Like #1!”

 

"Fancy Like" already spent 17 weeks and counting at Number One on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs and hit Top Five on Billboard’s Hot 100 Songs.

Luke Bryan Says He'll Be 'Nervous And Freaked Out' About Hosting CMA Awards

Luke Bryan is taking the reins of this week's CMA Awards as host for the first time in his career.

Obviously no stranger to network TV, Luke tells us his time on American Idol has helped make him more comfortable with this new CMA gig.

 

"So judging and hosting are, it's kind of two different things, but you know what, being in front of the TV a lot with American Idol has gotten me more comfortable with the role of doing these things. I'm excited to be in the role and be confident in the role. You don't ever want to be out there and you're so nervous and freaked out that you can't do a great job . . . which I'll still be nervous and freaked out."

 

In addition to hosting, Luke is scheduled to perform during the live broadcast and he's a nominee for Musical Event of the Year for "Buy Dirt" with Jordan Davis. T

 

he CMA Awards will air from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena tomorrow (Wednesday, November 10th) on ABC beginning at 8 p.m. ET.

Dierks Bentley Jokes He's the 'Susan Lucci' of the CMA Awards

Dierks Bentley says he thinks he may be the Susan Lucci of the CMA Awards. The day-time soap star won her first Emmy after 19 nominations. Dierks has been nominated 12 times for Male Vocalist of the Year, but has never won.

 

In an interview posted on Audacy.com, he said, "I'm super grateful for each one. I've never won that award, but I do get nominated a lot. It would be nice to win.”  

 

Dierks has performed on the show several times and will do so again this year. He’ll be joined by Hardy and Breland to sing “Beer’s on Me.”

 

The CMA Awards will broadcast live from Nashville on Wednesday (11-10) at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.

 

 

Blake Shelton Turns Wedding Vows Into A Song For Gwen Stefani

In a surprise announcement from Blake Shelton, he posted that he turned his wedding vows to Gwen Stefani into a song. He then released the song online early this morning.

 

Blake took to Instagram to share wedding photos and wrote: “Gwen and I decided we were going to write our own vows for the wedding, but I decided to surprise her by writing a song instead.” It's called “We Can Reach The Stars.”

 

He posted the news just hours before releasing it.

 

 

Carly Pearce NAILED Our National Anthem Before Game 6 At World Series

Our National Anthem always sets the tone before a big game like game 6 was last night out in Houston in the World Series.


Country singer Carly Pearce has quickly elevated herself to superstar status with her performance last night of the national anthem.


Dressed in jeans, tennis shoes, and a World Series t-shirt, Carly Pearce sang her heart out and crushed her performance!  She shared what an honor it was afterward on social media.


"Few things are as American and iconic as the World Series… like singing at the @opry , this is one of those things you don’t dare dream — and almost can’t believe when it’s actually happening. Thank you @MLB for giving me the honor of singing the National Anthem tonight. ♥."
