Miranda Lambert has revealed her mother, Beverly Lambert, has been battling breast cancer since last September but is now cancer-free. She told People that she has spent a lot of her time over the last several months in her home state of Texas to help support her mom and the rest of her family.

Miranda said, "She's been through a whole lot, but she's doing really well, and she's ready to roll. I was able to be with her through the hardest parts. She's unstoppable. She's just been so strong and positive through the whole thing. It's a good lesson for people to take away from a journey like that: Even though it's a really scary place to be, the more positive, the better."

While tough to watch her mom go through, Miranda says the experience gave her a new perspective on life. She said, "All I want to do is dream, live in the moment and spend time doing things I love with my friends and family because this thing with my mom has taught me we don't have them forever."

Sam Hunt has released a new single called “Water Under the Bridge." He co-wrote the song about a place and time in his youth. Sam tells us: 

"It’s a song that is literally about ‘Water Under The Bridge’ but it’s really about that little place that most small towns have. In my case, it was a little hangout spot down by the river up under an old backroad, and we used to gather up there – folks have been gathering up there long before we came along and I’m sure still gathering up there now – but on Friday and Saturday night go out there to have a good time, let our hair down a little bit, get into a little bit of trouble. We made a lot of memories out there.”

“Water Under the Bridge” follows Sam’s latest Number One hit “23.”

Scotty McCreery and his wife, Gabi, are expecting their first child, a boy, in November. Scotty told People.com, "We've gotten to live a lot of life and do some cool things, so seems like now's a good time to settle down a little and expand the family." The couple married four years ago this month.

Scotty and Gabi were actually shocked to learn they're expecting a boy. Scotty explains, "I was the only boy on both sides of my family, the last McCreery boy out there. Gabi's from two sisters in her family, so I just figured it would be a girl. But we got a surprise of a boy."

Luke Combs and his wife, Nicole, are officially parents! They welcomed their first child, son Tex Lawrence Combs, on Father's Day (June 19th), fittingly. Luke shared the big news on social media last night (Tuesday, June 21st) writing, “Welp he decided that Fathers Day would be a good time to show up. I couldn’t agree more. Me and @nicolejcombs are over the moon in love with this little guy . . ."

Nicole also introduced the baby on social media writing, “It’s going to be hard to top this past Father’s Day. Welcome to the world, Tex Lawrence Combs. You are the best chillest angel boy and I’m so happy I was chosen to be your mom. These are the days.”

Luke's other baby, his new album, Growin' Up, will be released on Friday (June 24th)

Lainey Wilson can officially add "actress" to her list of accomplishments. She is set to join the cast of Paramount's Yellowstone series for the upcoming fifth season.

Three of Lainey's songs have been featured in Yellowstone already, and as she tells us, the role is a surprising but welcomed opportunity.
"Taylor Sheridan, the writer and producer of the show, we've just become good friends over the past few years and he called me in February and he said, 'What would you think about me creating a character specifically for you and have you in Season Five?' I said, 'Woo, I've been acting a fool my whole life so let's see what happens,' and I've started kind of dabbling in it. I've been taking a few acting lessons and I'm really enjoying it. I love stepping outside my comfort zone and doing things that are a little scary, and this is a little scary but it's gonna be great!"

Deadline.com reports that Lainey will play a musician named Abby. 

Season Five of Yellowstone is set to premiere on November 13th.

Toby Keith revealed his shocking diagnosis of stomach cancer via social media yesterday (Sunday, June 12th). In his post, he shared that for the past six months he's been undergoing "chemo, radiation and surgery," writing, "So far, so good. I need time to breathe, recover and relax." Toby was diagnosed last fall.

He added, "I am looking forward to spend this time with my family. But I will see the fans sooner than later. I can't wait."

Just last month, Toby's 2022 Golf Classic in Oklahoma City and Norman, OK raised more than $1.38 million for the OK Kids Corral, a facility that his Toby Keith Foundation built which provides no-cost housing to families receiving pediatric cancer treatment in Oklahoma City.

Carrie Underwood is celebrating Friday's (June 10th) release of her new album, Denim & Rhinestones, all week long. She kicked things off Tuesday, with her Official Fan Club Party as part of this week's CMA Fest, and she also performed two shows at the Grand Ole Opry. Then on Wednesday she took the stage at The Historic Bell Tower in Downtown Nashville for Carrie Underwood: LIVE, a global, one-night-only live performance.

Denin & Rhinestones borrows its title from one of the songs on the album. While the song itself is a personal favorite of Carrie's, she tells it perfectly summed up the entire feel of the album. 

“I thought there was just something so cool about the title of it that is very me, that I wanted to name my album Denim & Rhinestones. When you think of Denim & Rhinestones, you think of the staples in your closet, the things that are reliable, the things that are comfortable, that you always feel good in them. Then you think of rhinestones and it’s all the things that sparkle on top, and I feel like that kind of just sums up me. It sums up this album. It’s a little vintage. It’s a little shiny, and it just makes you feel good."

Luke Combs and his wife Nicole celebrated the upcoming birth of their first child with a special baby shower.

Nicole documented the party and shared photos on Instagram. The one of a kind event had a citrus theme, including clementines made into the flower arrangements. Guests enjoyed decorated cookies in the shape of tangerine baby rattles, and some cookies had a message on them that read, "A little cutie is on the way.”.

A due date has not been announced but Luke told fans earlier this year, that Nicole was due in spring. With that said, summer is only 2 weeks away.

Blake Shelton says he wishes everyone could meet his wife, Gwen Stefani because she’s just a magical person to be around. In an interview with People.com, he said if you do, “You'll just be a better person for it. That’s the only way I know to say it.”

Blake is keeping busy on their Oklahoma ranch right now… because Gwen loves flowers, so he’s been planting “fields and acres” of flowers for her.

The two met while working on The Voice and are quickly approaching their first wedding anniversary on July 3.

The Voice will return to NBC for season 22 in the fall.

Luke Combs has dropped a couple of teases online that have his fans trying to find out more. First was a photo of him with his arm around Shania Twain. 

That was just enough to get fans started on speculating about a collaboration and asking him to cover one of her songs. That didn't seem to be the case though, her socials posted the same photo and she mentioned that they saw each other at the Bottle Rock Napa Festival.

The other teaser was a short audio clip of an unreleased fishing song called “On The Other Line.” In it, he sings about having a line in the water, while on a phone line with his wife.

That song and 11 others will be on his new album called Growin’ Up, to be released on June 24.
