Lainey Wilson Requests Continued Prayers For Her 'Deddy'

Lainey Wilson asks that the prayers continue, but she has now specified that they are for her father. On Wednesday morning, Lainey posted a message on social media letting fans know that she was bowing out of her weekend shows due to a "family emergency" but didn't offer any details. Later in the day, she posted a picture of her and her dad on social media writing, "My deddy. My cowboy. Please keep lifting him up in prayer. Toughest man I know."

While the cause of Lainey's dad's medical emergency is unknown, she did let fans know that the situation was "critical."

There is no information yet on when Lainey will return to the road, but as it currently stands, she is set to re-join Jon Pardi's Ain't Always The Cowboy Tour on August 4th in Inglewood, CA.

Morgan Wallen Pays All Expenses For Youth Baseball League's Trip To World Series

Morgan Wallen is sponsoring the Humphreys County Dixie League's upcoming trip to the World Series in Anderson, South Carolina. The 11/12 Division 2 team from Waverly, Tennessee won the state championship despite going through such a hard time in the last year with their schools destroyed by a devastating flood back in August. To make things a little easier on the kids and their families, Morgan has offered to pay for their travel, accommodations, food, new uniforms and even souvenirs for the team, who traveled to South Carolina yesterday (Wednesday, July 27th).

He also sent a video message to the team, calling their story "inspiring" and congratulating them on making it to the World Series. Morgan ended by telling them he'd be cheering them on from Tennessee and wished them good luck.

The mother of one of the baseball players posted a video on Facebook earlier this week of the team watching Morgan's video and learning of his generous gifts.

Blake Shelton Receives Special Gift From NASCAR Driver Jimmie Johnson

Blake Shelton recently received a special gift from his friend, NASCAR driver Jimmie Johnson, that, according to Blake, might "top" all others. It's a commemorative military NASCAR helmet reportedly featuring images of his late father and late brother, Dick Shelton and Richie Shelton, respectively.

Blake shared pictures of the helmet on social media on Monday (July 25th) writing, "I have been blessed in my lifetime to have received some incredible gifts and awards and things that will always mean a lot to me, but on a personal level this just might top them all. Thank you @jimmiejohnson. It is an honor and a privilege to call you my friend."

Jimmie replied writing, "Thanks my friend, the honor and privilege was all mine."

Taste of Country reports that the helmet was designed by Blake and Jimmie for the Indy 500, which was held over Memorial Day Weekend at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway where Blake served as the Grand Marshal. The "Helmet of Heroes" featured both Blake's and Jimmie's veteran family members.

Both Blake and his wife, Gwen Stefani, performed at the Hy-Vee INDYCAR races at Iowa Speedway over the weekend, which is where it seems Jimmie gifted the helmet to Blake

Luke Combs Gives Young Fan With Cancer Unforgettable Concert Experience

Luke Combs recently checked a bucket list item off one of his biggest fans' lists. Seventeen-year-old Addi is battling acute myeloid leukemia and she desperately wanted to get to go to one of Luke's concerts and be able to meet him. In a Facebook post, Addi's mother Staci Conely wrote in part, "Tonight the world was right and there was no talk of Addi’s cancer, no talk of dying and no talk of not making it to her 18th birthday. Her smile says it all! Tonight was perfect . . . Thank you, Luke Combs and team for giving our girl the most perfect night."

Tim McGraw Charts 45th Number One Hit

Tim McGraw tops the Country Aircheck/Mediabase chart this week with “7500 OBO.” He shared the news on social media, July 18th, writing, “Thanx Country Radio for making “7500 OBO” the #1 record this week. We’ve got new music coming soon! Buckle in!!" This is Tim's 45th Number One hit, according to Country Now.

As a car enthusiast, Tim was immediately drawn to "7500 OBO" but he admits that while he's attempted it, being a good mechanic is not in his wheelhouse. “No, God no. When I was a kid I used to. In fact, I had a ‘70 Ford pick-up truck, and one summer I got bored, and so I took the whole engine out and took everything apart and put it all back together, and I had a whole bucket of stuff left over. But it still ran. It still ran great. Nothing didn’t not work, so I don’t know what all the extra parts were that I had left over. But no, I’m not a mechanic by any means.”

“7500 OBO” is included on Tim's 2020 Here on Earth album. It's also his 45th career Number One hit. Check out his instagram post here:

Cole Swindell, Lainey Wilson Celebrate Chart-Topping Duet

Cole Swindell and Lainey Wilson gathered with the co-writers of their recent hit duet, "Never Say Never," on Wednesday (July 13th) in Nashville to celebrate it topping the country charts earlier this year. The song was Cole's 11th career Number One hit and Lainey's second.

The two say "Never Say Never" has helped them both, career-wise, in different ways, and as Lainey tells us, she's very appreciative for that boost from Cole. "I will say I think it's important for people like Cole who have been there, done that, for him to show the rest of the world like, 'Hey, I believe in this girl, maybe you should too.' That is really important, especially for where I'm at in my career and I can't wait to be able to do that for somebody. (Cole) I've told her since day one that this wasn't just helping her, this was gonna help both of us and take us both to whatever that next level we want to be at and I think its definitely done that."

Maren Morris' Latest Hit Serves To Inspire Her, Others

Maren Morris included a lot of her own personal circumstances in her latest hit, "Circles Around This Town," but she tells us the message is universal enough for everyone to relate to it. "I think that with the chorus we really, in a cyclical way, tied in the idea of yes, I'm looking back on my past, but I'm also still in the driver's seat doing the same exact things. Like I'm still trying to outdo myself and I'm still getting inspired by this town every single day. Obviously it's very specific to my story but I think it's relatable to a mass of people who are just trying their best and trying to figure out what their dream is and chase it down and stay inspired by it over time."

"Circles Around This Town" is a Top 10 hit and climbing on the Mediabase chart.

It's the lead single from her latest album, Humble Quest, which was released in March

Kenny Chesney's Childhood July 4th Included Baseball, Fireworks, & Girls!

Kenny Chesney's holiday weekend plans include playing a show at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, MO on Saturday (July 2nd). There is no word on how he will spend his July 4th (Monday) holiday this year, but he tells us that in years past it was all about baseball and girls.

"You know what? I was usually playin' little-league baseball on the Fourth of July. You know, I was big into sports, and the summertime in east Tennessee consisted of playin' baseball, and that's what I did on the Fourth of July. And they had a big fireworks display after all the games, and I was usually, you know, tryin' to win the affection of some little girl over at the concession stand. And, you know (laughs), things don't change very much!"

Kenny sits inside the Top 15 and climbing on the Mediabase country singles chart with "Everyone She Knows."
