Luke Bryan Announces 2023 'Country On' Tour

Luke Bryan will be busy this summer and fall on his headlining Country On Tour run set to open on June 15th in Syracuse, New York. Luke said, “Artists get into the business to make music and perform it for the fans. Leaving it all out on that stage is what it’s all about for me. I’m excited to support and have so many talented new artists along for the ride this year.  It’s one of the most rewarding parts of our job."

The tour borrows its name from Luke’s 30th Number One hit single, “Country On."

Cole Swindell Releases Single Off Upcoming Deluxe Album

Cole Swindell has released his new single, called “Drinkaby,” across all digital platforms. It will be one of the three new songs included on his upcoming deluxe album, Stereotype Broken, due out on April 28th.

Cole said, “’Drinkaby,’ from the first time I heard it, I pictured it being a huge show opener. The guitar lick in the intro just grabs you and doesn’t let you go. I’m not sure if there is such thing as a fun breakup song but that’s kind of what this is. Glad it’s finally out and can’t wait to get out there and play it live.”

“Drinkaby” was co-written by Jon Pardi, Jordan Schmidt, HARDY and Hunter Phelps. It follows on the heels of Cole's three Platinum-certified, multi-week Number One singles from his latest album, Stereotype -- “Never Say Never” featuring Lainey Wilson, “Single Saturday Night” and, most recently, “She Had Me At Heads Carolina."

Luke Combs Shares Album Title, Artwork On Social Media

Luke Combs shared the album cover and title of his upcoming project with fans on social media yesterday (Thursday, January 26th). The album is called Gettin’ Old, and it's due out on March 24th. Luke will release two songs -- the title track and one called "Growin' Up" -- today (Friday, January 27th).

In addition to the album artwork, Luke wrote, “This album is about the stage of life I’m in right now. One that I’m sure a lot of us are in, have been through, or will go through. It’s about coming of age, loving where life is now but at the same time missing how it used to be, continuing to fall for the one you love and loving them no matter what, living in the moment but still wondering how much time you have left, family, friends, being thankful, and leaving a legacy. Me and so many others have poured their hearts and souls into this record and I hope you love it as much as we do.”

Gettin' Old will feature 18 songs. It follows Luke's 2022 release, Growin’ Up.

Luke Bryan Apologizes For Dustin Lynch Intro At Crash My Playa

Luke Bryan turned to Instagram Stories last night (Wednesday, January 25th) to publicly apologize to Dustin Lynch for the controversial introduction he gave Dustin when he called him to the stage on the last night of Crash My Playa in Mexico on Sunday (January 22nd). Some on social media took issue with his comments, which included, "No one has drank more liquor, no one has vomited more, no one has taken more drugs, no one has taken more IVs, no one has passed more STD tests than this next gentlemen right here . . ." Luke explained that his words were "complete sarcasm."

Luke sent the message while “flooded cornfield, doing a little duck hunting." He said, “Just saw where people are starting to chat about my introduction of Dustin Lynch. Dustin Lynch is one of my dearest friends on the planet. No one respects him more than I do and that night at (Crash My) Playa, Sunday night, the last night I get everybody out and my introduction of him was complete sarcasm.”

He added, “Those words were so absurd. I figured everybody would take it as sarcasm. Obviously some people didn’t. I spoke to Dustin. I love him. He and I are all good and I apologize to anybody that doesn’t understand my humor and sarcasm. It’s been going on like that down there for years."

Dustin responded to Luke via Instagram stories writing, “Thx for the call, love ya bro. All good. We had a lot of fun down there again with the pirates.”

@country_musicfan23 What Luke Bryan said about Dustin Lynch is absolutely uncalled for! Jordan Davis Tops Country Charts For Second Week

Buy Dirt singer, Jordan Davis, claims his second week at Number One on both the Billboard and Country Aircheck/Mediabase country airplay charts this week with “What My World Spins Around.” The song is his fifth career chart-topper single to date.

“What My World Spins Around” was co-written Jordan, Ryan Hurd and Matt Dragstrem, and as Jordan tells us, they knew the song was special. “Anytime I go in to write with Ryan, like he’s just a beast, like that guy is an incredible songwriter and knows how to pull out, like truly pull out what you do real well. And I think even with Ryan, my first inclination with that chorus was to drop it a little bit, ‘cause it’s kind of up there for a long time, but Ryan was like, ‘Naw, you got it. Just sing it.’ But obviously super-talented, and Matt has become one of my favorite writers. So, I think we left that day realizing that we had something that felt really, really good."

Thomas Rhett Releases New Single, 'Angels Don't Always Have Wings'

Thomas Rhett has released a new single called “Angels Don’t Always Have Wings." Previously titled “Angels,” the track first appeared on Thomas' most recent album, Where We Started, which was released last spring.

Thomas said, “This is my favorite song from the album. I wrote it from a personal perspective, but I think it will resonate with a lot of people. It’s about how none of us are perfect, and how lucky we are to have those people in our lives who show up and love us despite our flaws. I often look at my wife and think she’s truly an angel, for the love and grace she shows me every single day.”

Thomas will kick off the Canadian leg of his Bring The Bar To You Tour with Jordan Davis and Kameron Marlowe on February 9th in Vancouver. His summer headlining Home Team Tour 23 featuring Cole Swindell and Nate Smith will play in 40 cities.

Dierks Bentley Pays Homage To Shuttered Nashville Bar In New Video

Dierks Bentley has released a performance video of the opening track, called "Same Ol' Me," from his upcoming album, Gravel & Gold. The clip was shot at the end of December at a well-known Nashville bar and performance venue called Exit/In which closed last year after more than 50 years.

Dierks said, “My first time playing Exit/In was just as meaningful to me as playing the Ryman and Bridgestone Arena. I opened for Asleep at the Wheel before I had a record deal or anything. A manager was supposed to come watch me play, but they didn’t show up. I had a few too many Busch Lights and passed out under a bench. The last thing I remember hearing was Ray Benson’s booming voice. I woke up around 4:00am and realized I was all alone! It was bittersweet to be in there during the last days of December as they were closing it down. I felt honored to take a shot with the guys and toast to the history there and turn the lights off.”

Dierks' Gravel & Gold album will be released on February 24th.

The project includes 14 tracks and will be Dierks' 10th career studio album.

Scott McCreery Made Latest Video A Family Affair

The video for Scotty McCreery's latest hit, "It Matters To Her," is a personal one for him and his wife, Gabi. The clip features all sorts of footage from Scotty's early days as a contestant on American Idol up through Scotty and Gabi getting ready for the arrival of their first child, son Avery, who was born in October.

He tells us: "I love to share my life and I love to talk about my wife and to share stories about what we're up to with (dog) Moose and with Avery, so she was kind enough to let us film our wedding. I didn't expect her to let us film that for 'This Is It,' and then I was like, 'Hey, can we like film from the whole way through like this journey for a music video,' and she was like, 'Really,' and I was like, 'Look, we'll set the phone in the corner and we'll like build the nursery and we won't even know we're doing it,' and so she was super cool about that so . . . To me it came out better than I could've imagined, for sure."

"It Matters To Her" is the third single from Scotty's 2021 Same Truck album. It follows the previous two Number Ones from the project, "You Time" and "Damn Strait."

Kane Brown Opens Up About Childhood

It's hard to find a moment in which Kane Brown doesn't have a smile on his face. The fun-loving singer can be seen living his best life on stages across the globe and goofing around with this daughters on social media. However, behind that smile is a past that Brown sums up as "crazy."

"I don't know if I ever told you, but I had, like, a crazy childhood," Brown shares with CBS News"I had to grow up a lot faster than the normal person."

When asked why, Brown explains that he was abused as a child at the hands of his stepfather. He said he was "beat a lot" as a kid, and sometimes, he was punished in dangerous ways for his mistakes.

"One of my stepdads, for my punishment, shaved my head bald and put aftershave on me," he shares before adding, "Made me physically eat half a bar of soap, not just bite into it. I had to physically eat it and swallow it. All kinds of crazy things."

In the past, Brown has shared that his upbringing was painful. In 2016 he revealed that at times when he was a kid, he and his mother were homeless. They moved between grandparents and friends' homes, but sometimes when there was no were else to go, they lived in a car.

Despite his past, Brown is focused on giving everything to his daughters. He didn't envision what kind of father he would but he knew that giving his children a better life was going to be a top priority. "I just always knew that I was going to try to be there for her or him — we didn't know — but I was just always gonna try to be there," Brown explains, "And I just always wanted to give them the life that — I know a lot of people say this — but I did want to give them the life that I never had."

If you need some motivation for shedding that holiday weight and getting in shape, look no further than Shay Mooney's Instagram page. Yesterday (Monday, January 2nd), the Dan + Shay singer shared a side-by-side comparison of him shirtless before and after six months of hard work and dedication. He captioned it, "Consistency. I changed my entire world in 6 months. No gimmicks or fads. Just consistency. If that tired guy on the left can do it so can you."

Back in October, Shay announced that he had lost almost 50 pounds over the course of five months. In a social media post at the time, he attributed it to "Eating clean/not drinking alcohol and walking 7 miles a day. And some weights . . ."
