Before securing her record deal, Hailey Whitters landed a job due to her resemblance of fellow country artist Miranda Lambert. She told Taste of Country, "I was walking to work at a hair salon, and I got stopped on the street by her music video director. She was like, 'Hey, what are you doing tomorrow?'" Hailey ended up being hired to be Miranda's body double in the "Fastest Girl In Town" video, which was released in 2012.

Hailey recalled, "The video director turned to Miranda and said, 'I think she is going to play you in the "Fastest Girl in Town" video shoot tomorrow," and Miranda said, "Well, if she's gonna play me, I'm glad she's cute!"

Hailey sits inside the Top 20 and climbing on the Mediabase chart with "Everything She Ain't."

Lauren Alaina will debut a new song from her new Unlocked EP on an upcoming episode of ABC's The Bachelorette. She will perform for this season's bachelorette, Charity Lawson, during an intimate one-on-one date, according to Taste of Country. Lauren's The Bachelorette episode will air on Monday (July 3rd) at 9 p.m. ET.

The six-song Unlocked EP was released earlier this month.

The EP includes a duet with Lainey Wilson called "Thicc As Thieves."

Luke Combs 2nd son’s due in September. They’ll have more children one day but want a bigger gap between them now.  As for the baby’s name it’ll be one syllable like their oldest Tex because Luke and Nicole think one syllable names are more powerful.  

Miranda Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation and Tractor Supply Company have teamed up for the third consecutive year to donate more than $250,000 to animal shelters across the nation. Through MuttNation’s "Mutts Across America" program, one outstanding shelter or foster-based rescue in every state – plus Washington, D.C. and a “Wildcard” pick – are being honored with a surprise $5,000 grant. Since it's inception nine years ago, MuttNation’s Mutts Across America has supported more than 450 shelters with over $1.75 million in grants.

Toby Keith shared the latest in his battle with stomach cancer. He said he's feeling pretty good, everything is on a positive trend, and he's about eight weeks away from his last scan. Toby shared that his goal is to return to touring sometime this fall. The singer is still undergoing chemotherapy and immunotherapy.  Toby first shared his cancer diagnosis with fans in June of last year.

Jordan Davis and his wife Kristen welcomed a baby boy last week in Nashville.  Elijah Patrick Davis weighed in at 10 pounds 1 ounce and was 22 inches long. He joins the Davis family's other children, 3 ½ year-old Eloise and 21 month-old Locklan.

Lainey Wilson really made the night of a young fan during her tour stop at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, MO on Saturday (June 17th). The little girl, named Finley, had a sign that read “Lainey, my Dad bet me a pony if I get to get on stage at my first ever country concert.” Let's just say Finley's now getting a pony because Lainey immediately brought the tearful child up on stage, hugged her, and even signed the poster.

Lainey told the crowd -- and Finley's father -- , “She’s going to get a pony now. I hate to tell you, but you’ve got to get a pony tomorrow. Finley is getting a pony, y’all!”

Lainey is currently on the road with Luke Combs. Their next date is on July 7th at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL.

This weekend, Lainey is set to perform at festivals in Colorado and Nebraska.

Eric Church is among the group of buyers who are prepared to purchase the majority stake in the Charlotte Hornets from basketball great Michael Jordan, who will retain a minority stake in the team. The transfer of ownership is still waiting on approval by the NBA Board of Governors before being finalized, however a tentative agreement has been reached between Jordan and the group of buyers. Eric is a native of Granite Falls, NC.

Gabby Barrett has released her new single called “Glory Days," which is available across all streaming platforms and digital retailers. It's the debut single from her upcoming album.

Gabby co-wrote "Glory Days." She said, “This song means so much to me and is about all the little things that make my life so full. These are my ‘Glory Days’ and I’m so excited to introduce my sophomore album with it.”

Gabby is currently opening select dates on Kane Brown's Drunk or Dreaming Tour, with an upcoming show at Fenway Park in Boston, MA on June 23rd. 

The Pennsylvania native will also return home to headline a postgame concert for the Pittsburgh Pirates at PNC Park in Pittsburgh on August 11th. The show is included in all game tickets for the Cincinnati Reds vs. Pittsburgh Pirates game that night.

It’s been over a year since Parker McCollum and wife, Hallie Ray tied the knot and the couple is as in love as ever. 

Parker shared some of the lessons he’s learned in his first years of marriage and explained just how much he loves being a husband. 

 “It’s kind of nice to have an opportunity in life to step up and deliver in not only my career, but at home too,” he said. “As much as you put into it is what you’ll get out of it, so I’ve embraced the opportunity.” 

Beautifully said by him, who also laughed while explaining some of the not-so glam moments. “We’ve been remodeling this house for a few months, that was kind of our anniversary gift,” Parker shared. “My Dad was like, ‘You’re domesticated now,’ and I was like, ‘Yes I am.’” 

He continued, “I take the trash out on Tuesdays, remodeling a house, landscaping, I’m talkin’ to my pool guy, I’m like — ‘How did we get here?’” he laughed. 

His recent released album, Never Enough, is all country according to him. 

“Every way that I approach Country music I’m trying to be legit and be the real deal and not ever [be] phoning it in,” Parker said of his career.  

Carly Pearce and her boyfriend of two years, Riley King, have decided to go their separate ways. Page Six reports that according to a source, the couple broke up over her "trust issues" in the wake of her short-lived marriage to and divorce from fellow artist Michael Ray. Their marriage lasted just eight months before Carly filed for divorce in 2020.

Morgan Wallen's doctors have given him the green light to resume his tour after six weeks of vocal rest. He shared the good news via Instagram Stories on Tuesday (June 6th) night with a photo of himself on a boat along with the caption, “The doc cleared me to talk and sing… we back."

Earlier in the day, Morgan shared a picture of himself and Eric Church on a boat writing, "It's Island Time."

At this point, Morgan is scheduled to return to his One Night At A Time World Tour on June 22nd with the first of two shows at Wrigley Field in Chicago.

Jon Pardi has been a dad to his daughter Presley for just over three months now, so he's still figuring out some parts of the job. 

He says that while things are going well with the new baby, there has been one small "dad fail" so far. 

Pardi explains that the situation occurred when he was on the phone one day, and his wife Summer had asked him to take care of Presley when she woke up. 

"[Presley] was just, like, screaming, and I have terrible phone service so I'm outside on the front deck, couldn't even hear," he recalls. "And Summer's like, 'What the hell? I told you to get Presley!' I was like, 'I was on the phone!'" 

"This just happened," he adds. "And Presley was angry, she was mad. She was hungry." 

Overall, Pardi says fatherhood is going wonderfully, and having a child has opened up a new side of him. 

"It's fun," he says. "It's a new feeling of missing something. Missing your little baby and you want to see her. You want to hang out with Presley. That was something that was never there."  

"I'm looking forward to chasing her around and her starting to talk and wanting to ride around on the tractor and stuff like that," he adds, "But right now she's been an amazing baby."
