(Connersville, IN)--The USA Today recently identified the poorest county in each state. And, for Indiana, it’s Fayette County. The publication cites a median household income that’s only about 75% of the state average. It says that nearly one in four residents is living in poverty, and that less than one in ten has a bachelor’s degree. One in three Fayette County children was living in poverty between 2010 and 2013.
