(Richmond, IN)--It’s good news for the city of Richmond. The city learned Thursday that it will receive another $1.3 million to help tear down and remove abandoned homes that have become eyesores and safety hazards. Last year the city was awarded $2 million. The additional amount means that 56 more unsightly properties can be cleaned up. Hagerstown received $150,000. Greens Fork is getting $68,000.
