(Greenville, OH)--A Union City man was sentenced Sunday for causing the death of 25-year-old Christin Deaton a year ago. 27-year-old Rayne Hunnicut was driving under the influence of several drugs when he crashed with Deaton in the car. "The defendant shouldn't have even been driving. His license was under suspension, but he chose to drive anyway. He drove with a concoction of illicit drugs," said Prosecutor Jesse Green. Hunnicut was given a six-year prison sentence and apologized to the family. "I want to tell the Deaton family that I'm sorry. There ain't no words I can say that's gonna bring her back, and I can't blame you guys for how you feel," Hunnicut said. He pled guilty to aggravated vehicular homicide.
