(Richmond, IN)--Wayne County’s Democratic Party got a shot of youth and enthusiasm Wednesday night when it picked 22-year-old Dakota Collins to be its new leader.  Collins was chosen 13-10 Wednesday night over Karen Chasteen in a vote of precinct committee members.  Collins promised to reach out to young voters and utilize social media.  He’s a senior at Earlham and replaces Jerry Hayden, who stepped down after taking a new job in North Dakota.
