(Wayne County, IN)--An ATV rider late Tuesday night lost control in the darkness and went down a steep ravine into a creek off of Beeson Road in southern Wayne County.  A medical helicopter was placed on standby.  First responders had difficulty reaching the scene at 11 o’clock Tuesday night, but were eventually able to rescue the rider.  He was taken to Reid Hospital.  His name and condition have not been released.  The DNR is handling the investigation.
