307 PEOPLE LEAVE WAYNE COUNTY IN 2014; 4th HIGHEST LOSS IN INDIANA

(Richmond, IN)--307 people left Wayne County in 2014, and that’s more all but three other Indiana counties.  New estimates released Thursday by the U.S. Census Bureau indicate Wayne County’s population dropped by half a percent.  Fayette County had the highest population loss in Indiana last year. 371 people left, dropping Fayette County’s population by 1.6% to just over 23,000 people.  The only Whitewater Valley county in Indiana that grew last year was Franklin County, and they only added five people.
