(Whitewater Valley)--A series of storms left moderate damage in their wake Wednesday. A large tree fell on a shed at the Wayne County Museum, causing $20,000 in damage. In Preble County, a barn that was only two years old was destroyed at the farm of Ron Deaton. "It replaced a 150-year-old barn and we expected it to be around for a long time, but sometimes Mother Nature doesn't cooperate," Deaton said. A large trampoline ended up in a tall tree there. Roughly 3500 customers of various power companies experienced outages. It was restored by 4:30 yesterday afternoon. There were no reports of any injuries.
