(Richmond, IN)--Changes are coming to Richmond Community Schools as a result of Wednesday night’s board meeting. Beginning with the new school year in August, RCS will return to a neighborhood school system. It means that elementary school boundaries will be redrawn and students who attend schools away from where they live, including the Starr Academy, will be reassigned to their own neighborhood schools. The new school boundaries can be seen on the RCS website Thursday. The change will save the school system $150,000 in annual transportation costs.
