(Connersville, IN)--The oldest manufacturer in Connersville has been sold. It was known for decades as Dresser-Roots until it sold to General Electric. Now, GE has sold the company to a Maryland-based company called Colfax. Colfax is paying $185 million in a deal that will finalize in a few months. Employees, who signed a new labor agreement last month, are expected to be retained. The plant dates back to the 1850’s.
