(Richmond, IN)--Local law enforcement agents, including the Wayne County Drug Task Force, have wrapped up a week-long drug sweep that has resulted in the arrests of 22 Whitewater Valley drug dealers. All are accused of selling heroin. Some are also accused of selling cocaine. RPD Chief Mark Connery talked Thursday about how addiction spawns other crimes. "From shoplifting to burglaries...shoplifters return property to get money for their addiction," Connery said. Investigators recovered 92 grams of heroin and 110 grams of cocaine with a street value over $20,000.
