(Richmond, IN)--The teachers union for Richmond Community Schools publically voiced its unrest and skepticism over two hires at Wednesday night’s RCS Board meeting. The board approved hiring two people to fill two new central office administrative positions. Both come from the Muncie area and both new employees were familiar to new RCS Superintendent Todd Terrill from his time there. REA President Kelly McDermott told the board that there is "absolutely no challenge to Terrill’s authority." All but one board member voted in support of Terrill. Jeff Slifer was the only board member to vote against the hiring.
