(Richmond, IN)--Reid Hospital has sent its detailed response to the Indiana Department of Environmental Management regarding the condition of the old Reid campus.  Reid said that it will deal with any environmental issues for which it may be responsible, but also said that it has nothing to do with the building’s current dilapidated condition.  Reid has retained an environmental consultant that will be involved in more testing.  CEO Craig Kinyon said that 3000 pieces of furniture were left behind for the new owners and that Reid turned the building over to them in good faith and in good condition in 2008.
