WOMAN ACCUSED OF STEALING FROM GRAVES CHARGED, IDENTIFIED

(Laurel, IN)--The woman accused of stealing items from gravesites in Franklin – and possibly Fayette – County has been charged and identified.  44-year-old Jeanette Reece-Brandes of Laurel now faces a theft charge.  She was arrested after a family member of a person buried in Laurel North Cemetery set up a hidden camera and caught her stealing items like flowers, wind chimes, and other decorations.  Brandes faces up to a year in jail and will be in court later this month.
