(Richmond, IN)--It made for a lot of interesting pictures on social media, but the storms that passed through the Whitewater Valley Monday did relatively little damage. Richmond had five downed trees and just under an inch of rain. Wayne County’s severe weather sirens sounded, but they should not have. EMA employees were trying to find out why that happened. Counting Monday and with more rain likely Tuesday, Richmond has now had measurable rain on 16 of the 24 days of summer.
