(Richmond, IN)--Next Wednesday will mark the 14-year mark since Richmond’s Niqui McCown disappeared after last being seen at a Richmond laundry. Now, her daughter Payton is taking the lead in making sure her mom is remembered and that the case stays active. Payton Johnston was nine at the time, but is now 23 and living in Arizona. Payton is planning a candlelight vigil on the 22nd at the laundry with a celebration of life the following Sunday at Glen Miller Park. She said the public is welcome.
