(Richmond, IN)--The Richmond Redevelopment Commission Wednesday reached a compromise agreement of sorts by approving the allocation of $80,000 for repair of the Paulee Restaurant wall in the Depot District. Owners had requested $120,000. There were stipulations placed on the agreement. Those include a promise from owners that the city will not be subject to any lawsuits and that the owners pay back taxes on the building. Also, if the building sells, the city would be paid back.
