(Eaton, OH)--For the first time ever, Preble County has an around-the-clock emergency medical treatment option. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Tuesday for the new Kettering Health Network Preble Emergency Center in Eaton. "We'll have a board-certified emergency physician 24 hours a day. We'll also have two or three emergency nurses," said Director of Nursing Keith Achor. He also talked about the benefits to the community. "We've heard from local industry that it's and advantage to them to recruit people to come, because now you've got 24-hour-a-day emergency medical service. The 24,000 square-foot facility includes 12 patient care rooms as part of a $13 million project. The center is located on Washington-Jackson Road next to the YMCA.
