NEW PROJECT MEANS 100 MANUFACTURING JOBS FOR CONNERSVILLE

(Connersville, IN)--A hundred new jobs appear to be headed to Connersville.  This week, council passed tax abatements for a company called Jane’s Development Corporation.  $30 million is being invested at the former D&M facility on West 21st Street.  The company will produce pre-stressed concrete panels and pallets.  The jobs will pay between 12 and $17 an hour with full benefits.  Renovations to the building are expected to take at least a year.  Jane’s Development is based in Chicago and picked Connersville because of its railroad.
