NUMBER OF WHITEWATER VALLEY HOMELESS STUDENTS IS RISING

(Indianapolis, IN)--There’s been a sharp rise in the number of homeless students across the Whitewater Valley in the last five years.  According to newly-released figures, nine out of every thousand students in Wayne County are now homeless.  Franklin County has one of the highest rates in our area, with 28 students listed as homeless.  Some area districts, including Western Wayne, had no homeless students.
