GARD'S WITHDRAWAL MEANS EXTRA WORK FOR COUNTY EMPLOYEES

(Richmond, IN)--Libertarian Kamara Gard has now withdrawn from Richmond’s mayoral race, and it means extra work for county employees.  171 residents who have cast absentee ballots will have to be contacted.  Voting machines will have to be reprogrammed so that Gard’s name does not appear.  Gard now has indicated she wants to run to be Indiana’s Superintendent of Public Instruction.  That’s the top education official in the state.  One of Gard’s education plans as a mayoral candidate was to put a McDonald’s in every school building in Richmond to encourage attendance.
