(Richmond, IN)--Richmond police are searching for suspects in two overnight armed robberies. In the first, two young white males entered the Clark station on Richmond Avenue at 10 p.m. Wednesday and pulled a handgun. They ran when the clerk pulled a knife on them. Then, a little more than an hour later, two males with the same description held up the Village Pantry on South 9th. They got away with less than $50 and some cigarettes. Investigators also discovered that the same two appeared to have been casing the Village Pantry on North West Fifth, but did not attempt a robbery there. Police have not yet definitively connected all three incidents to the same suspects.
